I have a confession to make. Everytime I listen to Billy Joel Armstrong sing, I imagine Ace Ventura singing those same lyrics. You know, with his butt cheeks. Basically I'm saying Green Day sounds like shit. They use the same three or four chords for every song, and they've made millions off of emo teenagers and Hot Topic merchandising.
And I'm not just saying that *because I didn't get into the concert with my fake NBC press pass. It looked legit to me. So what if it was written sloppily on the back of a Wolfgang Puck's receipt.
"But wait," you might ask, "...why is Mark daydreaming about Jim Carrey's butt cheeks?"
That's for me and my therapist to figure out.
